    Activating Your New EtihadWE Connection

    Moving to the northern emirates? Once you're settled in your new place in Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, or Fujairah, you'll need to get your utilities connected. Luckily, activating a new EtihadWE (formerly FEWA) connection is a breeze! Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started online:

    Register on the Official Website: Head to the EtihadWE website and create an account.

    Navigate to E-Services: Look for the "Services" tab and then select "Customer" within the "E-Services" section.

    Choose Service Activation: Click on "Service Activation" to begin the application process.

    Log in with UAE Pass: Use your UAE Pass credentials to securely log in.

    Complete the Application: Fill out all the information required in the online form and attach any necessary documents.

    Relax and Wait for Approval: EtihadWE will review your application and notify you within 24 hours. Once approved, your electricity and water service will be activated within the next 24 hours.

    Disconnecting Your EtihadWE Service

    Moving out of your place in the northern emirates? Here's how to disconnect your EtihadWE service:

    Head to the Official Website: Visit the Etihad Water and Electricity portal.

    Navigate to E-Services: After logging in, locate the "Services" tab and select "Customer" within the "E-Services" section.

    Start Disconnection Application: Use your UAE Pass or registered ID to initiate the disconnection process.

    Clearance Certificate: You might need to apply for a Clearance Certificate as well.

    Disconnection and Refund: Once the clearance certificate is applied for and your outstanding balance is settled, your electricity and water connection will be disconnected within 24 hours. The clearance certificate itself will be issued within three days.

    Security Deposit Refund: The security deposit you paid when establishing the connection can be refunded to your bank account. Alternatively, you can collect it in cash from Al Ansari Exchange.
